Built in Fullerton, California
CB Design builds every table in our Fullerton, California workshop. The factory is where the design becomes physical. Hardwoods are hand-selected, frames are cut and joined, slate is set and leveled, and each finish is hand-rubbed to the chosen sheen.
From raw material to finished piece, every stage is done in-house by our team. Every table that leaves our shop carries 35 years of accumulated manufacturing knowledge and the precision of hands-on quality control at each step.

Every CB Design table begins here. Frames are cut and joined, bases shaped, slate set and leveled, and each finish hand-rubbed in our Fullerton, California workshop.
At the Bench
Materials Worked by Hand
- Hardwoods Mahogany, Sapele, Oak, Maple, Cherry, and Walnut.
- Slate 1-inch three-piece Brazilian slate, bolted through the frame.
- Frame Solid 2-inch Poplar or Solid Aluminum for cantilever styles.
- Finish Matte, Satin, Semi-Gloss, or High Gloss, all hand-rubbed.
